Weathermen have become pretty useless in these early days of a dying planet, but last I heard, economists are actually called upon to influence the economy...so noting that asshats like McArdle are responsible for bad policies that destroy people's hopes and dreams is pretty reasonable, actually.Colenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2222630007427380394.post-12232692948894479522016-07-19T19:58:29.629-05:002016-07-19T19:58:29.629-05:00No one seems to realize that all the other GOP can...No one seems to realize that all the other GOP candidates were also horrible, unelectable.

Pretty much this. Trump might (emphasis: might have been the worst candidate to climb out of the clown car this year, but the best they fielded wasn't much better. The Republicans have nothing to offer right now - nothing but conspiracy theories and promises to undo everything and take us back to the way things were in good ol' 2008. That may be enough to light a fire under the Breitbart crowd, but it won't do much for people with problems that they'd like to see fixed.Andrew Johnstonhttp://illit.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2222630007427380394.post-24532171303790675072016-07-19T16:18:40.037-05:002016-07-19T16:18:40.037-05:00No one seems to realize that all the other GOP can...No one seems to realize that all the other GOP candidates were also horrible, unelectable. The GOP has no intelligent and ethical candidates to offer the USA, only grifters and religious dorks. Might as well go with the biggest, most entertaining loudmouth. It appears repugs like loudmouths.... consider O'Riley, sLimebag, Gingrich, most of the Repug pols... Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03176801494652946278noreply@blogger.com
