I took down a post on McArdle's airplane woes since I felt the basis for my criticism wasn't firm enough. If I don't have enough evidence to speculate, I shouldn't.

    Anything anybody says about airline pain has a good chance of being true. Megan is most likely misstating something, but such is blogging.

    I was assuming she was talking about her honeymoon flight, which the text didn't support.

    But yes, airlines are hideous, and downsizing is affecting flight schedules.
