I got into a pointless fight with Megan 9 days ago about what was needed for deficit reduction. Despite me repeating it 3 times she never realized that she simply had no idea what was going on.
Today she had the same fight with Chris Hayes. Same thing, just more public.
Hayes agreed with her view that nobody really wanted to raise taxes or cut benefits. That ignores everyone who says we need to raise taxes to lower income inequality and the true believers on the right. It's not helpful to play "above the fray" when we are talking about actual policies and actual consequences.

Very nice.
The more on the Mock Megan cruise ship, the merrier.

Do you have a link to this? Was it on Twitter? Digby doesn't have a link.
But I can't see any link to the Chris Hayes-Mcardle "discussion" Not on Digby's blog anyway.
Emily
It was on MSNBC but I haven't found it yet.

Pinhead pipes up at 7 minutes.
Or not - that was pretty dull.
We are inured to McArdle however.
