Once again I'm stunned at how impressed everyone is with Scott Walker. Unless he some kind of diabolical genius who's 15 moves ahead, he just seems to step in it over and over again. But the question is, if the media love him does it even matter? The media is probably drooling at the thought of taking as much Koch money as they can. Second or third houses. Designer clothes. Ivy League tuition. Vacations in Tahiti. (I hear it's a magical place.)
The sky's the limit!

speaking of taking koch money, some of it helps pay for the pbs science show nova -
last night it was about the hubble space telescope - i watched it with interest, and felt a twinge of gratitude for those who funded the show about it
as the hasidic saying goes, there is no one so bright as to avoid one speck of darkness, and no one so dark as to be bereft of one spark of light
They give a lot of money to charities. As did the gilded age robber barons.
It's a good saying.
Their PBS donations are no doubt tax-deductible, so the government really is paying for the show in the end. Yep, Kocks get the credit & publicity, save some money, and the taxpayers pick up the tab again.
