That is one good dose of truth.
It sure is. It is so strange to see parents devalue the people whom they entrust with their kids' education. The rich seem to think of them as servants and now the poor are telling us teachers are rich bloodsuckers.
He is terrific (Mali)--I had the pleasure of seeing one of his poetry performances a few years ago.
He's a former teacher? That's the saddest part of this - I'd love to know he's till out there inspiring our kids.
I think he does still teach, gretchen, but he's a poet and "slam" performer as well
This was amazing, teaching at its BEST! I Love it! Tell it like it is! That's my kind of Teaching!!!
I posted this one several months back - I love it. Thanks for posting it - it can't get enough play.
I suppose it's also a good litmus test to see if someone's a moron or lacking a soul, because every good teacher - and everyone who's had at least one good teacher - will get this video.
