Today, Megan posted a Disney video, a link to a fellow Atlantic "voice," and a link to Outside the Beltway regarding the Left Behind series. Megan notes the writing in those books is dreadful (quite true) and wonders why people buy them. There's an answer, but we have to read the comments to find it.
Say, wouldn't it be cool if Megan looked up some sales figures, contacted some publishing houses or even read some websites, and found out the answer to her question? Then she could give us the information instead of asking someone else to do it for her. (I believe I'm not the only person suggesting this.)
Megan McArdle is Jonah Goldberg without the family connections. The lack of content on her blog is glaring. Too bad she never developed Goldberg's schtick of going to the movies and writing liberal-bias-society's-collapsing reviews, but at least she's realized that she can blog about grocery shopping, something this housewife would never even consider doing.

She did post some IM from a friend of hers - advice on making sure that when you rudely blow somebody off because something better comes up, you don't announce it on your social network sites that the person knows about. I'm not sure if this was supposed to be funny or a genuine piece of advice. In either case, it was stupid.
What a delimma for Megan. On the one had, she wants everyone to know where she is and what she's doing at all times, so they can admire and envy her. But that means that losers will know what she's doing, or that she lied to them to ditch them.
What's a grown woman with an adolescent mind to do??
Do they give her an actual office?
Didn't she have to move to DC for her Atlantic job? So maybe she does, but it's difficult to tell.
