Megan McArdle informs us that new product safety laws will have an adverse effect--preventing the sale of children's books published before 1985. That's so awful. I wish someone could email Amazon and ask them about this, and talk to someone at CPSIA. Then they could write up what they found out and publish it in some kind of publishing venue, like the internet.
Or they can just throw out some scary-sounding words and call it a day.
