I read her enlightened plans for purchasing and paying off the mortgage on a house. Sounds so mature and intelligent. Too bad they don't have enough for a decent down payment because they spent it on the Wedding & Honeymoon. Intentions of paying the mortgage down in 10 years won't work with that attitude.
I know cause husband & I did it in 6 years, and it meant putting every extra penny to the Principal. And we did. It was worth it too, our house is paid for, cars paid for . No debt so we'll be ok IF IF IF there aren't any serious medical problems. Except there nearly always are.
