Crooks and Liars:

I wondered whose deep pockets the trust fund baby was using to launch his new vanity project. Turns out, Tucker's sugar daddy is Foster Friess, a very vocal climate change denier.

The Daily Caller's main post at present is a large close-up of Nancy Pelosi and the following:

Nancy Pelosi and others flew for free to Copenhagen Climate Junket
By Sharyl Attkisson - CBS News 01/12/10 at 1:42 pm

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other members of Congress took their families along on a first-class trip to Denmark. (AP Photo/Gerald Herbert)A delegation of congressional members attending the Copenhagen Climate Summit was so large–by some counts, 101 people–that it required two taxpayer-funded 737’s and a Gulfstream Five, to make the trip, reports CBS investigative correspondent Sharyl Atkisson. Members of congress, who refused to fly commercial, also brought along their families and support staff. All for a summit that failed to deliver a global climate deal.

One of the tags for the article is "environmental scepticism." It seems this post is just the first of many.

Tuckie ought to look into getting Mona Charen on board. Our local "paper", whose op-ed section wants to be just like The Wall Street Journal when it grows up, ran a corker of a piece by Mona today...one of those "Britain is covered by snow, so how can the globe be getting warmer, HUH?" things.

Aside from all the amazing garbage the site has put up in almost no time, I just have to wonder : Who is Tucker's base?

Ain't no way that guy is going to make it outside the Village.

Mona's pretty busy stinking up the Corner.

Tucker's base--hmm. The establishment side of the republican party? It's unreal that Republicans are the party with the anti-establishment rabble.

Schisms are kind of fun.

Culture 11 spent a million in six months, I read, so I guess Carlson's toy might last a couple of years.

Conservatives have a hopeless task. Conformity breeds repetition, killing humor, surprise and originality, all the things that make writing interesting.

Culture 11 was Friedersdorf & Suderman posting out of Megan's dungeon.

Carlson's abomination is full of stuff from people who expect to get paid. He'll blow through $3 million in nothing flat.
